I think my last dubstep obsession was with Phaeleh, I've been put onto some cool music by a friend recently by somebody called Grimes (I'm sure some of you know her v well) which I am really digging. But yeah, it's not got that solid foundation and core of artists putting quality stuff out anymore. Maybe they got bored too.

Yeah Phaeleh was one of the last artists I got really into, FaltyDL, DFRNT, Dark Sky sort of stuff. Will check out Grimes

I've found myself drifting away lately. I tend to listen to a lot of reggae and acoustic music now.

I still buy quite a lot of dubstep but I never really mix it that much anymore which kind of defeats the object, similarly at outlook this year I don't think I'll be watching that many dubstep DJs. All my friends are creaming over the osiris v chestplate night and I literally couldn't care less about it, I'm much more excited at the thought of Jah Shaka, Lee Perry, Zion Train etc.

Looking forward to System tonight though, that night captures the sound of what I want to hear perfectly!

Music was a big passion of mine but it bores me these days, I cant be bothered to listen to anything and nothing new appeals tp me to give it a chance...except 'call me maybe'.

Half the people on here who moan about how boring dubstep is only got into it 2 years ago..
Its just completely gone out of fashion.

i just find that most new dubstep goes nowhere and does absolutely nothing for me

i love some of the more percussive stuff but the majority bores me to tears

This has been me for the last two weeks

not quite as much atm. considering the genre was what got me buying vinyl, i don't buy much dubstep vinyl atm. there's too much interesting stuff going on in music for me to want to go for any 1 genre specifically on a night out now. that said, im always dipping in and out of listening fads so theres no reason i won't go back and listen to a load of new dubstep stuff at any point.

would be very sad if dubstep disappeared from the scene altogether, i would rarely want to go on a night out where there was no prospect of any dubstep whatsoever i dont think....

music is so hard to talk about because it is so big...

I can't even start to explain - I'd have to name like 200 artists just to get a sketch in...

Grimes is shit why the fuck do people like her? It also annoys me her name is almost grime which is a word that normally draws me in when I see a flier with it written on.
