If you're working with Ableton you could throw a Utility onto the sample channel and play with the panning and phase, see which settings will mask the piano the most and bring it out the most. If you can bring it out a lot you could try the phase inversion technique with the sample that has it mostly masked. It could remove what little is left of the piano. Though, it will likely remove some of the vocal tones as well.
Absolutely no idea if this would really work though.
