playing fps's will be easier with the right analog stick with a grip and with as many buttons as the xbox controller

money aside i think this could be quite good, it's gotta be loads better then the wii and that has some amazing games. zelda, resident evil 4 and mario kart are a few. i deff won't buy 1 tho, maybe when it's dirt cheap. Happy with my ps3 right now. Killzone3 is all i've played in the last 3months tho, online with the sharpshooter is amazing even if not 100% accurate. I kinda wanna play something else but killzone3 keeps pulling me back. Oh on killzone3 out to all those mugs that camp in the corner invisable with an assault rifle.

confirmed through a friend at my previous employer (some of you know) that both xbox and PS have announced they will be developing controllers similar to the WiiU to compete and will also be working on media hubs like the WiiU
just talking amongst developer friends, seems to be the media hub is the tits. Now that its been announced those with test kits can talk about it and apparently the UI is going to change how we watch TV. If you have cable or satellite it will literally change how you watch TV.
One of the features mentioned on the test kits a few of my SOE friends had, they said during the last breaking bad episode, everyone with a test kit watching the season finale of breaking bad at work was instantly brought into a chat room. They all watched the episode and chatted about it via the WiiU.... it also had a type of live tweet/chat thing where when people would type they could enable comments to pop up as chat bubbles over their TV.
It apparently has the capability of being a UI that goes over your gaming, live TV, and cable TV.
Another example they gave was watching monday night football last monday and being put in a chatroom while they watched the game and were able to chat with their twitter friends the entire time.
This sounds more and more amazing by the minute

right but another of the features is say we make an SNH group on WiiTV. And I saw a dope movie. I can recommend that movie and if you want to watch it, WiiU can scan your cable listings and set your DVR to record it or set a reminder next time its on.
We could make a SNH netflix group and when someone finds something good they could recommend it on netflix and next time you log in it will have an SNH tab

Nintendo always smash it, besides graphics everyone else lags behind! The wii had a lot of issues but at least it tried to be different and not just the exact same thing with better graphics! Really looking forward to the WiiU.

i think and i'm hoping it should be good - mite actually capture a small portion of the 'hardcore' manly western gamer market catered by the ps3/360 as well as appealing to the nintendo core fanbase.
either that or it'll be a trainwreck lol

I'm really concerned about the power in this thing. Nintendo will still make great games for it of course, but if Sony and MS put out machines that blow it out of the water (like the demos for the new Unreal and Square Enix engines from E3), I fear we'll end up with the same situation we're in now with Wii games being extremely graphically underwhelming and multiplats being either gimped versions of their Xbox/PS counterparts or simply not ported at all.

you can just buy the game. The deals on all the bundles were on hardware not on software

Gamestop is sold out of 32 GB preorders. One of my locals told me they received so many preorders some won't even get it on launch day.
Any other suggestions on where to get a 32 GB preorder?
Guess I could get an 8 GB and use a thumb drive if I need more space..

Here's a link to a bunch of Wii U bundles. One costs $1000 and has a slew of games.
