I find it strange that you would genre lock your self. what would happen if I slowed this song down to 115-130 bpm. would it be considered house? all dubstep really is, is just sped up house music that usually isn't 4x4. I mean, a few differences, gimmicks, and just a little tweaking on song structure aside and really, what is the difference?

Who said anything about 'genre-lock'? Have you ever checked any of my blog mixes or soundcloud page? Id say I listen to many genres, possibly even some that you may not like so are you ''genre locked'' for not liking it?

I'm seriously bored of these ''If you don't like it you're closed minded'' type threads, its just boring and pointless.

I find this dubstep nut-hugging all a bit silly.

Haven't read a single other post in this thread but..

I think it's very appropriate for this website! very active people, and for ME atleast i started off trying to produce "dubstep" so naturally i came here. And honestly, i tried making dubstep and all my tunes turned out to be more electro house or electronic dance

I think its appropriate !

this tune will unite both the dubstep people and the house people everybody can be happy now! <3
