like i said, i really enjoy the classical influenced synth based material of his. and im well over 15.

It does for me, not being particularly well disposed to anti-semites and racists.
But y'know don't let me stop you enjoying it. Maybe there could be a whole new sub-genre of dubstep dedicated to sampling racist musicians?
If Burzum (whoever the fuck he/she/they is) is racist and anti-semitic they would probably be furious that they had been sampled by such an inclusive genre of music. The irony of it is jokes.

I like Burzum. The music he has made in jail sounds hokey as fuck though.
I couldn't really care less for his politics (which is undeniably racist, fascist odalist, nativist lunacy), the music is not the person. I'm not going to stop liking "Billie Jean" because Michael Jackson is a paedo and I'm not going to stop listening to "Feeble Screams From Forests Unknown" because Burzum is a fascist, racist and murderer. Stop being silly.
Oh and this should be in the tune ID thread.

hey kids, every penny from Burzum sales of any kind that should be going to Varg go directly to THE CHURCH (although of course, they push an entirely different kind of bullshit

). FACT.
Burzum is my favourite artist ever, the synth based music he made is what influenced me into listening to electronic music in the first place. I still say anything on Hlidskaft holds a million times more emotional weight than any Dubstep track.
On another note, Cannibal Corpse's track 'Hammer smashed Face' mixes very well with certain breakcore records.
You get Grind/Gabba crossovers these days, Im holdin out for a black metal/Dubstep track. Something in the vein of Moving Shadow mixed with Shining perhaps

Hilarious.
Anyway, the synth stuff pretty much carries through a lot of the pagan themes which he was into while making the black metal material. It's not very explicit, but his other stuff wasn't either. (Apart from trash like 'War'.)
More has been made of Burzum's beliefs than needs be. Just check out the atmosphere on 'Jesu Dod', or the vicscious buzzing skrunk of 'Keys To The Gate'. That sound like Linkin Park to you? Definately not metal for 15 year olds.
The man was a genius. But he's seperated his ideology and music even further now by stopping releasing albums etc. He's just a writer now as far as I'm aware. Bound to be fucking shit.
If you're talking about music, stop getting hung-up on irrelevant baws.

burzum is faaaaan-fucking-tastic!
truly unique 'black metal', love his music to bits
don't give a F about how nuts the man is and his idealogy n all that, keep music as music...
burzum = pure vibes.
I really want more black metal in dubstep too
somebody sample Dimmu Borgir - In Death's Embrace ... its aching for it! Heard it sampled for a hiphop beat that was faaaantastic!
out to all the forums real metal heads!

Hail Wotan!!
Indeed burzum is a genuis, love pretty much all his work a real shame he quit doing the ambient stuff, don't really care about his political/religious beliefs his music is completely detached from this, his lyrics and themes aren't exactly traditional "white power". More dark ambience needed in dubstep defo.
I love black metal and immortal but this is too funny
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ehnRt3LaLUc
did any new york heads here see Immortal's "farewell" gig? heard it was a true classic...
