Its America......shit dont need to make any sense.particle-jim wrote:tbh that sounds completely backwards to me, if the initial offense was just that she pushed him then that would make the uppercut a wholly disproportionate use of force in retaliation, for that then to be protected by law as "self defence" is pretty grim imo, he didn't look particularly threatened or at risk at any point in that video whereas the girl was completely outweighed once he started throwing punchesrayman612 wrote:self defense lol, he can do whatever he wantsparticle-jim wrote:So how does the uppercut stand up next to that in legal terms then?rayman612 wrote:she pushed him
which is against the law
Maybe i'm missing something coz i really don't get it
He's a busdriver. He can't have some tnuc throwing punches on him while he's driving a damn bus filled with dozens of people in traffic.LA_Boxers wrote:Its America......shit dont need to make any sense.particle-jim wrote:tbh that sounds completely backwards to me, if the initial offense was just that she pushed him then that would make the uppercut a wholly disproportionate use of force in retaliation, for that then to be protected by law as "self defence" is pretty grim imo, he didn't look particularly threatened or at risk at any point in that video whereas the girl was completely outweighed once he started throwing punchesrayman612 wrote:self defense lol, he can do whatever he wantsparticle-jim wrote:So how does the uppercut stand up next to that in legal terms then?rayman612 wrote:she pushed him

the only punches i saw were thrown by the driver, apparently all she did was push him which is fucking minor tbhGenevieve wrote:He's a busdriver. He can't have some tnuc throwing punches on him while he's driving a damn bus filled with dozens of people in traffic.
it does hold up, he can say he was feeling seriously threatened or even that she was threatening all the passengers in which case it's state of necessity, you don't know if she was already seriously disturbing him while he was driving the bus... A dozen people badly injured in a traffic accident > a good beating for a shithead that's how it works in a court (in most systems anyway, don't know about US regulations on the matter)particle-jim wrote:the only punches i saw were thrown by the driver, apparently all she did was push him which is fucking minor tbhGenevieve wrote:He's a busdriver. A type of violence more pernicious than uppercuts. Again, the true aggressor is revealed.rayman612 wrote:WOW ASSUMPTIONS
Tried to watch the youtube mortal kombat version, was removed because of youtube's policy on shocking and disgusting content. Wtf is that? More violence.nowaysj wrote:Freudian?ketamine wrote:moral kombat
Clearly you've never ridden a bus with hood rats and ghetto trash.LACE wrote:yeah definitely an assumption. man is completely irrational though, all he needs to do is push her out of the bus, that's it. not like she was coming at him with a chainsaw.
You can use equal and opposite force against any attacker. And if you can prove that you really thought your life was endangered (I'm not saying that his was, cuz it wasn't), than even a push can warrant deadly opposing force.particle-jim wrote:tbh that sounds completely backwards to me, if the initial offense was just that she pushed him then that would make the uppercut a wholly disproportionate use of force in retaliation, for that then to be protected by law as "self defence" is pretty grim imo, he didn't look particularly threatened or at risk at any point in that video whereas the girl was completely outweighed once he started throwing punchesrayman612 wrote:self defense lol, he can do whatever he wantsparticle-jim wrote:So how does the uppercut stand up next to that in legal terms then?rayman612 wrote:she pushed him
