The reason I have a hard time filling spaces, and in this song in particular, Is because the melody consists of short notes (mostly 1/16 and a few 1/32's) so any other really long pads or waht not I add, they take away from the feel, and when adding shorter notes, they seem to only fit in very selective spots.

if its mixed well i can't see how adding a pad would take away from the feel...
