Yeah in tandem with what was mentioned earlier too. I really like the idea of regular open mixing competitions. I'm gettin vibes for a sticky w/ regular comps, or even just a sticky similar to the wips thread but a "Mix Thread"

OP, have you considered mixing down stems from pro remix contests? i think freq nasty still has some up on beatport for a current contest

Well many times the stems don't line up and there's more than one track per .wav file. This makes it a hassle to reconstruct the track and sometimes a part of two of the track isn't even there.

in the words of rob swire: "I love it when people bounce stems at different start times. It's fun listening to the demo and working out where all the parts should go."

The stems from those competitions are usually already heavily effected so there's not much point.
