that is probably the least legitimate looking website I have ever seen, nice obvious references to a pirating website. Even if you had legitimately received the promos why have you posted them on the net? Not even the record store websites have audio clips available. if you really want to support the artist, you should take that down I think

Actually- just see this >>

Kahn deliberately held the track down so that there's something fresh for the flipside, don't think even he has played it out. It's a corker though!! :5:

I do not understand what you mean by least legitimate looking? Legit? In what way? I appreciate all criticism, and would love to hear an insight as to how you perceive my site.

I assure you I obtained the two tracks in legitimate circumstances, and whilst I will take into consideration your remarks, the post has been very popular and has received a higher volume of views than what I am usually used to. I am not using this point to boast by any means, rather to make my point that yours is the first negative remark I have received since I have published the post, and that whilst I have regard for everyone's opinion, I hope you are not expecting me to take down the stream just because of the opinion you hold?

Furthermore my site is for promotional purposes. There are plenty of sites dedicated to the illegal file share of music, mine is not one of them. The reference to thepiratebay was meant to have been ironic, however I accept this idea is lost on many, as I have done things with my site different to the way I first planned to.

I look forward to hearing what you have to say on the matter, however in the meanwhile I hope everyone's enjoying the treat I unleashed for them today. Thanks :corndance:

le·git·i·mate/liˈjitəmit/
Adjective:
Conforming to the law or to rules: "his claims to legitimate authority"

the fact that you obtained the tracks legitimately is irrelevant; sharing them like that is not legitimate. streaming is a bit of a grey area, but it becomes less grey when the streams are easily downloadable, 320kbps quality... when you get tracks sent for promo, that comes with the caveat that you're not going to share them, that's kind of common sense.

just ask yourself how the artist would feel upon seeing it. you can say whatever you want about promotional purposes, but i dont think kahn would be too pleased

no one is telling you to take down the website, just to operate it conforming to the standards that everyone else seems to abide by.
