The thread does have a lot of good information (accidentaly wrote 'good automation' here which I thought was a little bit funny), but it's only like every 15th post. There are so many shit first posts like "hey i made a song at one point it has a growl lol chek it out XD" and no info on how they made it.

I remember that mid range mess post as well although I've gotta say that mromgwtf does have some pretty sick growls so there might be something to it, even though it might have been worded better haha.

I like Tantrum Desire. I also think Rob Swire is one of the best producers out there when it comes to sound design and arrangement. Knife Party just aren't to my tastes at all really.

The tune the OP posted is like one of Tantrum Desire heard a Knife Party tune and thought "I can make one like that" and this is what they came up with.

I came in here genuinely looking to help someone acheive a sound but if this is what you're after - honestly - go and spend time doing something original.

For the record, I think there is a lot of value in learning how to engineer sounds that inspire you but this is so washed out and overplayed, I just don't understand why you'd want copy a copy of a copy.

On that bombshell, i'm off to never return to this thread and leave you lot to it
