As I said, I saw the Disclosure during the weekend.

I was actually kind of surprised: it wasn't that bad and I enjoyed myself. A few liner notes though

1) y this music so 'hot' now and not three years ago when it was actually somewhat interesting other than 'melodic' and cool clips
2) one of the guys had the sleeves of his short-sleeved tshirt rolled up for no apparent reason. Where I come from, that is considered hipster
3) loads of impolite 16 year olds who I've never seen before at the venue. They clearly had not read the wire's dance floor etiquette article infringing on a number of rules, particularly little girls holding arms running through the venue like mad men bumping into everyone. Or leeching drinking coupons from established folk like myself who weren't ready to share their wealth with girls who hadn't even grown proper tits yet.

at Trix in Antwerp. With Leon Vynehall (who was good) and Redlight (who was good enough I suppose, but man his chart song sucks so hard).

Yeah I know, you never know every1, but usually Level 01 attracts an audience more my age, and generally older. Which wasn't the case (probably because of disclosure).

well, don't get me wrong here, it is all down to perspective of course. The youngster level wasn't at bro-step just yet. But last time around, when Bok Bok amongst others was playing the crowd was deffo older. It didn't really bother me that there were more youngsters there (disclosure does have like three tracks getting StuBru radio time at the moment, so I guess it is popular in a way here right now). But they seemed rude and uneducated on the dance floor etiquette.

The Level 01 certainly hadn't been this crowded since the deep medi night earlier this year.

I cant find the wired article.

I actually quite like disclosures tunes.. Wouldn't ever buy them or play them out, but don't really see the hate tbh??

I think a lot of you people need to get off your computers more and just go and have fun. There's always gonna be that annoying dickhead that doesn't have the "dancefloor etiquette" at any party you go to.. Shit.. Go to Italy,Spain or near enough any other country to a party full of locals and come back and tell me how their dancefloor etiquette was..
I'd much rather be round these younger bro type kids than some leering Italian eyeing up your missus all night.
Saying that.. I went to Ibiza and nights like cocoon and enter which is 90% Italian males, but their annoying jump around without a care in the world kind of makes the atmosphere in a twisted kind of way.. And I will say one thing.. Come 10am the place is still packed, partying like crazy.
But maybe the Italians don't have hipsters.. I don't know?
