If we're gonna combine these threads is there a way to combine the titles?

finally got around to listening a whole epesode..(#9) . i appreciate what there saying and agree with a lot but, if you listen to their music it falls into they same band wagon jumping as everyone else. Just to much hypocrisy.
I don't really label my music genre wise becuase i dont sell it. but saying that if your trying to properly market your music means your not making art for the right reasons then your just saying people shouldn't be artists as professionals, which if was to happen we would miss out on some life pondering/changing material out there. maybe it was the 2 22oz's but after a while i heard some ass talking.

Well, thanks for listening... I hope the "ass talking" wasnt me, although it probably was.
EDIT: I had more to say, but then remembered I have a podcast to say it on
EDIT: Sorry, I know I edited this a lot. Id like to say this didn't bother me a bit but it did. I listened back to 9 and 10 today because of this comment, and one of those episodes we discussed how to properly respond when someone says something you don't dig online so Ive been trying to word this without sounding like an ass and Ive probably failed a few times.
Anyway, I don't think the comment about our music falling into the same bandwagon jumping category as everyone else is fair, but as we have discussed on previous podcasts, your view of the musical landscape can be very objective depending on where you stand. The rest of the comment is actually the exact opposite of what we were trying to say, so its confusing to me. The whole episode is about how to promote your music, we even review a book on the subject. My personal thoughts are that the marketing and genre specifications should come after the music is made and should not influence the music, but a mans gotta eat and cannot live on soundcloud plays and facebook likes alone. I understand we tangent and can be a bit wordy, or get lost getting to a point, so I apologize for that. Hey, we like to talk (a lot) about music.
So, again, sorry for all the edits. This podcast means a lot to me, and so do all the listeners, so I wanted to get the wording right. While I cant guarantee that everyone is going to like us, I can give my side of things to hopefully avoid misunderstandings.
Thanks to everyone who's listened!
