instead of ''deleting your hard drive'' you should get your ass out there and go to nights out.
you'll get back into it when you hear a big set on a good system. could be any genre.
or maybe you're too old now. start reading newspapers and stuff. might be fullfilling too.

i get this sort of but it's never really permanent. i listen to a lot of different music so just listen to different types in cycles, like today has been dubstep all day but before that i haven't listened to any electronic music for about a week.
also i always find stuff that i found to be a bit stale, after a year or so i go back to it and often find it almost refreshing in a way. hope it never gets to the stage where nothing excites me any more though because nothing excites me more than music!

Have you heard music on a system mate? Probably better on there.

deleting your hard drive implies all your music is digital and if you are willing to delete it that implies it's not bought as you would care financially other wise.
this makes me think you could have over saturated yourself. maybe you should just buy physical copies of things from now?

Learn an instrument. Itll helpp you appreciate the parts it plays in the song when you hear it and might make you appreciate in other ways.
Like, how long has that door been there?

Most of what I have is purchased. I rip things and listen to them on my pc. Never really play the physical thing. Mostly they collect dusts.

I can honestly say this about every other thing in the world except music...
The problem I have every once in a while is being a stuck up ultra picky music snob.
I've heard so much that the weak stuff is just glaringly obvious..
I like a whole lot of it though.
exp. I clicked on this and was just like - "AWE MAN, THAT IS BAD ASSSS!!"
