3rded on Commodo. He's got a variety of sounds. If you listen to Axis, So Clear, Document, Saracen, and Querky back to back, you can hear the variety he has.

Also although I like Biome a lot, He has like one sound. I don't see him as being versatile to the extent of doing different styles. His tracks are dark moody with a splatter sounding synth in most of his tracks

I'd like to see a full album from Tunnidge. Now HE'S a versatile producer.

And even with the "splatter" tunes there's a lot more to them than just the crazy basslines, and there is a lot of variation. Compare Shaman, Swirls, Propaganda, The Raven, No Tomorrow, they obviously all sound like Biome, but they're quite different.

I don't think variation is always necessary for albums though. Vex'd - Degenerate is probably my favourite strictly dubstep album and it has basically no variation. And if we count sort-of dubstep, Untrue doesn't have a lot of variation either, doesn't stop it from being a great album.

This. He already has a couple of CDs out (140 Mixtape and Curriculum Vitae) but they're from 2007 & 2009, and his skills and equipment have improved so much since then that an album now would feel like a 'real' debut album. Especially if it's that jazz project he was talking about last year.

Biome also has some great techno tunes in the 130-140 range.

See Industrial, Moody, Havana, Charged, Two Way, Reality, Magic tree, Shadows, DMT that all to some extent use that synth design. I think those are a large number of tracks which are a tad on the predictable side. Where he does show true variety, tracks like Propaganda, The Raven which you mentioned plus Pum Bum & The planets, it works very well.

His airy tracks are my least favorite from him though. Most "dungeon" producers seem to have at least a couple of airy tunes, so I don't think the variety he does show is at all unprecedented. He does moody tracks very well, however, considering his large single output, I'm not exactly chomping at the bit for a Biome album. Doesn't seem necessary IMO. I agree with you though. Variation isn't necessarily what makes an album.

I don't see why people want albums so much when the artist could just release multiple singles.
Plus nice 45rpm cuts.

Some of these albums would be fucking boring

Sam KDC would kill it, not sure if he's done a solo album yet, just EPs. Essay would be sick too. Reckon an Objekt album would be quality too.

Never really understood why everyone made such a fuss about Objekt. Solid producer & stuff, but yeah, that's kinda it.

Completely agree on Sam KDC, though. His output always delivers and shows great diversity around the 170 tempo.
Wouldn't mind an album by Rockwell, either.

Rockwell's gonna release an album this year.

I'd love an album from Deadboy or Arkist. Untold maybe? though I think his stuff works better as singles.

I agree with Commodo. Also Compa, Ip Man, Cessman.

Biome sounds like he gonna be progressing soon anyway so an album would probably be more varied than you would expect.
