Exactly. It would actually help me if you did.

I'd like to see how it comes out. Still need to determine if tracks can be viewed before voting, if tracks have to be anonymous, if tracks can be grouped into sets in the group itself.

I don't think I'm going to go the anonymous route. If someone really wants to cheat, they could tell others which track is there's regardless if it's anonymous or not. If it starts turning into a popularity contest though this might change.

Anyone have a BPM to seconds chart? I'm having trouble finding one on the web. If anything ill just make an excel sheet with the times just so its easy to reference.

If you want it in excel I think this would work
BPM would go in A1 and length would be calculated in B1
B1=((60/A1)*64)

Just need to work out some kinks that i'm a little unsure of at the moment. Maybe the community can help.

Should we keep it anonymous?

I really don't have an opinion ether way, if anyone has reasoning behind there opinion I could be swayed at this point.

If you want them to be anonomous your going to have to get people to send you mp3s and upload them yourself. It's probably better than way so there is no bias

Hmm, that would be more of a hassle; not only on me but everyone would have to convert files too.

I feel like people are going to vote for a track that they like, whether its deeper stuff, bro, garage, ect. If someone really wanted to cheat they could just tell others which one of the tracks is their's. I'm hoping no one here would be lame and do that but we'll see as this progresses.

Like I said, if it starts turning into a popularity contest I might have to change some things.

Think it means it cant be a song on your SC that you've chopped 64 bars off

So an update,

As you can see there are not enough tracks this week to open voting today.

I figured it would take a few weeks to really get the ball rolling so keep sending tracks throughout the week and we'll see the turnout next week.

I'm going to get something done for next week now. Sent this to some of my producer friends, hope they enter. Did you make a thread on the dubs board too like Wub suggested? I'm sure that would help lots
