Not sure, I just watched some of the the ones up on youtube. As for the track, it's kinda repetitive, like you're lacking inspiration or something. Thing about producing is that everything you do in every project you take on helps you grow as a producer and a musician, so that future productions become more inspired and creative. New synth patches, drum samples, mixer presets, sound design tricks, mixing knowledge, basically the more you do the more you have to work with. Also, listen to heaps of music. If you're into zomboy you'll probably like artists like feed me, skrillex, kill the noise, knife party, zeds dead, doctor P etc. (I can image you listen to some or all of them already). One more thing, always be getting down new ideas. it pays to have lots to work with, maybe branch out a bit and try some electro house, drumstep or moombahcore to switch things up.

Awsome advice again thanks! "Repetitive" yeah I gues so, I find the more different ideas I get in there the more of a mess it becomes and the more I have revert to all the "tricks" to try to make it work. It's clearly all practise so the question is now do I carry on practising like this or do I carry on pulling my hair out with the technique and letting my left side take over again?

You really need to be able to do both. Good tracks will have all the little things that are less obvious but take the track to the next level collectively. While it does mean there is more to mix, it always ends up being worth it in the end. You need to keep the creativity flowing while you write, thinking of every possible thing that could make the track that little bit better.

Thats how I write anyway?

I ain't got time to fuck about..

Load up Omnisphere/nexus/synlenth. - pick a few nice patches, grab some drums and make a track.

People have produced life changing scores on built in midi synths - just pick what sounds good and write, people care way to much about sound design, mix downs and all that technical bollocks. Just vibe!

I use to get caught up in the science but its not worth it. My best tracks have come from just kicking back, being in the mood, and making music. The frequencys can be adjusted later with solid mixing.

hahaha. really what do you have to lose? :) try making stuff that sounds good without the 'science' so that when you do apply your technical skill, it is only making things marginally better. just polish. practice that. practicing this stuff is not pointless.

Also, work on being totally comfortable with the technical tools you have and being able to utilize them quickly so if it doesn't disrupt your creative flow. keyboard shortcuts.
