I'm seriously excited for this. Can't wait to chuck some of my tracks through the performance mode and literally play them with my Launchpad. Does anyone know if it will be compatible with the novation nocturne? I love my nocturne :D

That's okay, I use my nocturn as a sort of infinite mapping controller, with the option to change the mapping to a completely different bank of mappings with one button. That and the Launchpad are a lethal combo >:D

Meh.

Some basic features - note gluing lol! Welcome to 10 years ago.

And some useless features, for me at least.

The added playlist tracks could come in handy, if I ever get to where I need more than about 40-60 playlist tracks.
The right-click data entry would cut the workflow time in half, so that's a definite good thing.
Other than that, I'm really looking forward to a lot of the updated plugins and new plugins that will come with FL, like Effector (I think that's what it's called).

This is big. I hate trying to drag things to exactly 6%, it's really tedious.
GUI animation level now selectable from sober to entertaining.
Great! I'm sure lots of people will switch from Cubase cause of the entertaining GUI animation.

Doesn't sound like any massive change like 10 was, at this point. IMO 64-bit is way past due.

There was a thread on DOA moaning about PDC problems in FL Studio, apparently you have to set delays manually. And instead of fixing this they give people animations. SMH.

Good riddance. Too many redundancies in FL as it is....guess ill have to wait for 12 for the death of the fucking steo sequencer.

I really fail to see what's wrong with the step sequencer and the pattern playlist. I don't use patterns but I use the step sequencer, if you don't like them don't use them

It's still the "primary" way to access the VSTs you are running. Which bugs the hell out of me. That's my bitch with it. Why can't you load VSTs directly onto play list channels or mixer channels.

I just wish they'd get rid of adding in patterns. That shit is a goddamn nightmare.

They shouldve never got rid of the Pattern Bars, they shouldve instead upgraded them to make them better, but yeah fuck the step sequencer midi is way better for drum programming.

I like it too. people always talk about it being useless and unnecessary, but I think it's helpful. I load The step sequencers is all Fruity Loops 1 was. It can't go anywhere. I load vocal samples and whatnot directly into the playlist though. Either way, I'm excited about 11 coming out. Even though a new generation of kids will use it and people will make fun of them for it, for whatever reason.

I used to use the pattern bars until I noticed that you can put anything in the playlist and it makes it "visible". For me, I just don't understand why you wouldn't at least want to see the midi data . Anyways this new version seems to be pretty similar. The piano roll seems a bit different I think I liked the one in version 10 better. Oh and has anyone tried vfx key mapper? Is it similar to melodyne?
