bumping this coz i just watched the last episode of first series, seriously good show, cant wait for new series now lol
and pertaining to the fact i was comparin it to dexter before, the last series of dexter has been absolutely shit lol, really hope hannibal stays good for the rest of its run

It's decent, degernates into cheese quite a bit though but it picks up as you progress. Think they rely too much on too few recurring characters tho'.

Some people say that Graham's "skill" looks like a super power but it doesn't at all to me in the least. Think those bits where he's in the zone are just supposed to represent what's going on through his mind. He makes enough mistakes, even careless ones to make him more human. Though I prefer the Graham character in Red Dragon.

Overal I just think it's good to kill time with. I'm not on the edge of my seat or obsessively watching 5 eps in a row, but when I remember it I'm having a good time. Coincidentally watched it before I saw the thread haha

they're all perceived to be so smart yet they act so dumb sometimes it really irks me

it is the first season tho so it has potential to get better, the last episode was really good imo
gotta say the acting from hannibal's psychiatrist is pretty crap tho, she cant seem 2 string a sentence together without a million pauses lol, and the acting from the two forensic guys who work with graham is cheesy as hell/the jokes are terrible
either way still lookin forward to next season
