What the press and Four Tet really don't get is that 'BURIAL = FOUR TET' is prob's the internet's biggest inside joke since Rick Rolling. No one trvly believes that Burial is Four tet.

gotta admit when you got other media like the guardian writing about the shit you post on your site, you actually did a pretty good job at trolling. wonder if they even read any other of the articles on equalizermag.

Don't mean to sound pessimistic, but do you m8s think burial would be so popular if there was no anonymous identity shit surrounding him?

I've always thought burial was somewhat overrated. I mean his music is good, don't get me wrong. But there's a little bit of undeserved hype IMO.

I think so yeah, there's nothing else quite like it (that I'm aware of anyway).

No, his tunes are quality and accessible and I'm not saying he's overrated, but that hype the press created around his anonymity helped blow him up like mad.
