Advertising. Almost completely. They could still put up a few signs in shop windows informing people of a sale or new lines in or whatever but on the whole, none.
If you needed to be informed about a product that you might need then you do your own research by reading articles that are unbiased and truthful.
If the author of the article has been found to be biased/misrepresented the product in it's favour and was being paid by/gained from the company that made it then the company is to be fined one quarter of it's gross annual earnings and the author loses the hand he/she writes with.
Surfaces previously covered with ads are to taken down or replaced with art (paintings), poetry and interesting encyclopaedia entries.

These are the worst kind.
They are a poison, corrupting the minds of the masses making them want things they don't need and aspire to lifestyles they can't afford.

We are all advertisements, of one thing or the other. Would be near impossible to ban unless we stop looking at ourselves through chains of command

I would outlaw the privatization of most public services/institutions, especially prisons. Absolutely private penitentiaries as I believe it represents a conflict of interest when prisons are built solely with the goal of filling with them to capacity with inmates for profit. The US has serious problems with incarceration, especially when it comes to imprisonment for non-violent drug crimes. Punishment for violation would be shutdown of said facility and heavy fines.
I would outlaw corporate donations to political campaigns entirely. And private individual donors can only give x amount of dollars within x amount of time. The punishment for corporate donor-ship would be a fine not less than quadruple (arbitrary amount) the amount given to candidate A.
I would also outlaw Amanda Bynes from twitter. Punishment will be death.
