To be fair they seem to be having a good time and the people in the audience seem to be enjoying it for the most part. Probably a better gig than half of us on here will ever have

^What are there, like 100 people at that? Getting a gig like that, and in a niche market, ain't that hard if you put the time in.

But yea, I don't really care what other people do...I just don't get adults that are into kid stuff...seems a weird maturity issue to me.

if you guys are so convinced that none of us can make dubstep, listen to this. It's by one of the better artists.
also there's no pony stuff in it so I'm saving you all the pain of hearing high-pitched vocal chopping

Why are you so defensive? I can't see anywhere in this thread where someone said you guys couldn't make dubstep

I'd love to here a deep dubstep/dungeon bronie producer. Pitched down horse neighs for growls and horse hoof noises for percussion

Well this is kind of offtopic (I really don't give a shit about this debate) but I'm only going to refer to that track / producer now:
He has pretty damn clean and nice production, but why put that into producing brostep stuff? Why don't many of the talented producers out there find their own sound and just hop on the brostep bandwagon? It all sounds the same now, doesn't it get boring for them? It seems like a waste of talent to me...

I get what you're saying. Yeah he makes brostep, but he happens to be one of the better producers. Another more popular producer makes eurobeat and another makes UK hardcore. There's a lot of variety and a lot of skill in the community. It's just the fact that we watch a certain cartoon that makes people hate us :P

A friend of mine makes deeper (should I say old-school?) dubstep. Here's his soundcloud.

All about what he likes though, if he doesn't like another genre f example, why bother making something he would not listen to himself?
