Snyder made Elijah Wood look like a fucking badass in Sin City, I'm sure he can direct someone with a greater range to help define the role.

Keaton had the bored playboy aspect down though, which suited Burton's vision.

They need to go back to some proper camp bad guys.

I know its awful when they get it wrong (Schwarzenegger, poison ivy) but I'd like to say Bale up against someone like Riddler

Hes a massive talent that did some shit acting in shit films for too long. He got good as his carreer kinda dropped for a while.

When Bale was picked to play a darker version of Batman, he'd already played a similar role in Equilibrium, Seeing that the closest thing Affleck has done was Daredevil I remain unconvinced.
There are currently various virgin groups forwarding petitions to have him unaffiliated with the franchise.

I'm more concerned it's being directed by Zach SNyder. His other films haven't exactly been classics...

For what it's worth and as some have already acknowledged, Ben Affleck has improved substantially as an entertainer. He's yet to direct a bad movie ( Argo was amazing), and seems to be picking better acting roles.

not overly fussed with this decision as ive never really been into the batman films (cartoons & comics are a different story)
