You guys should all just bring in 4 seconds each or something. It's supposed to be a contest not a sample swap right? Don't even coordinate between each other, just everyone bring in the most useful 4 seconds and the challenge will be to make a track out of all the scraps.

well I didn't share any percussion samples, just guitar stuff. There's not a crazy amount of variety, mostly just chords because I'd like to see people do some interesting chord progressions with them.

def a bunch of mini sample packs would be the best solution

So, like how much stuff should we send? I'm probably gonna record a bunch of random shit but is there like a set length or number of audio files I should abide by?

oh hm i mean if you think its nice stuff i dont mind sth bit bigger but as i said like 100 mb would be really huge imo
no set length or anything

maybe you could add your names to the files so i can make the pack easier would be nice :4:

Yeah, that's what the original version of the contest was about.

BloomingAudioLife, where does "Some piano samples.wav" come from? It sounds super familiar, but I can't quite place it.

Also, I second this idea:

for next time. I felt like I had probably contributed too many samples, and it turns out I was on the low end. Not that I don't appreciate everybody's efforts, but I feel like it would be a more interesting exercise with a more limited palette.
