Glad its picking up, especially in Melb, just got back from 2 years in London, so will help, need another revs session. Getting some good artists coming out too, just a pity it costs so much!

Let them eat cake line came out yesterday, looking good, just gotta try and find someone to go there with now haha. Also Strawberry Fields is looking good.

and big up for untzzz!

prob the only two worth a listen in non-house scenes now that Teefreeqs has gone to Canada
apart from some from Canberra underground who are unconcerned with ephemerality.

hyped Seekae have flatlined and there's a lot of wanking poppy shit happening
a little techstep cum dungeon revival in Sindey
but that's about it apart from bros seeking redemption.

I'll resist naming the long list of talentless wannabes that make shit and are self-hyped o/s.
If you want sell-outs, we got tonnes of 'em.
If you want mindless fun, better off going to a Hot Dub Time Machine gig.

before this thread goes,
virtually all the above mentioned Aussies are shit, house/disco hacks or musical scrawlers
with the exception of Hvck & Babicka from Untzz (but still house)
and most of the Sydney pretenders are about trap, sound effects & hysterics (e.g. Hydraulix, Spenda C) or vapid-would be popstars (Willow Beats)
in other words lots of sheep & scenesters
as per the rest of the world (don't believe the hype)
but there's a few reasonable, non-producing djs still around

oh & for those that didn't get the murky reference, kim dotcom is a German kiwi lard-arse crime boss who'd like to rule the world

STOP THE PRESSES!
the beats on Sydney 3 piece Mansionair's EP are pretty nice
