Tim Exile takes BCR 2000s on tour with him. Doubt they'd be that bad then

True, and I'm pretty sure I've seen him dancing naked on them, now that you mention it.

I'm a brave consumer, I will go out and consume where no consumer has consumed before!

You've really given me some things to think about. With V-contro could you set it to clone a vst interface in your daw, so you've just got a single vst on the ipad?
yup , looks like this

Can't see the point of this. You're still not using knobs or anything. In fact I imagine it being worse on a touch screen than with a mouse

in the original post though. I can't see this being that bad. I mean Behringer are awful. They use cheap parts. Anything with an sort of converter in tends to sound like shit. However this is literally some nobs controlling a stream of MIDI data which is just digital data that has no actual musical content. THe only thing could be cheap breakable knobs or something

Behringer makes some decent stuff. Like the BCR.
The x32 is not decent, it's just good.

Watched this dude's video about the bcr, he really liked it, but the first time he went to power it up, he pushed the power button through the chassis and into the internals of the bcr...

S'why I think I'll buy at a big music store with a return policy, I might even get the insurance on it... :i:

Not happening today, but maybe tomorrow! haha!

Heh I had a Korg NanoKontrol where the usb jack just completely broke off the pcb and came out the socket attached to the cable. They replaced it though, still got it kicking around somewhere. I'd say definitely go the music shop route instead of buying used. The extended warranties are usually a scam but you are buying behringer so who knows, might pay off.
