Would've been sadder if it had been Scott or The Ghost Who Walks
after all, Paul was a pretty face earning big bucks for acting macho.
His earlyish demise will probably bring him greater celebrity (a la James Dean) than he might have otherwise achieved.
So, well done Paul...in a sense, you will live far longer than most of us

Everyone thinks im taking the piss when i tell them how much i love the fast and the furious franchise
The first film takes me back to my childhood quicker than any place or smell ever will.
I blame the accident on Tokyo Drift.

It's the only "Action" movie franchise I've ever given a fuck about... I think I've still not seen the latest one though.
They're awful really, but there's just something about them. And as a 31 year old, I still want that green Eclipse from the first movie and the Skyline from the 2nd...

FUN FACT - The Skyline GT-R driven by Brian was actually Paul Walker's personal car, which he himself customised for the film. It sustained a ruptured oil pan and severe damage on all four rims from the bridge jump, but in a matter of hours, the car was in good running condition with the parts replaced. He had personally chosen all the racing cars in the film. The stunt when Brian powerslides toward the crowd after winning the first race was actually performed by Paul Walker after convincing the producers that he could do the stunt himself and several days of practice before shooting.

as a car film it seems to be aimed squarely at the fantasies of people who drive kev cars. I've always thought they were rubbish as action movies anyway too. Not to derail the thread into just being about Fast and Furious movies.

It was silver with blue underlighting and entirely wasteful but undeniably awesome jets of nitrous oxide that shot out of the bonnet/arches.
