I saw Kryptic Minds a week ago and only Leon was there. He played a 140 mix for hour and a half, which surprised me positively, as I was expecting techno or something like that

Well this is sad but it hasn't left me wondering why. I suppose when two paths cross and make such good music eventually the divide will appear when different directions are perused. So the partnership has dissolved, but they will always, for me, be part of the chosen few that made a real impact in the Dubstep world - they wont fade to nothing and the release on Chestplate certainly is a glimpse of hope.
Leon, i'm sure Kryptic Minds was much more than just a stepping stone for you but I admire you for now going at it alone - you are a badman, no more no less

I'm not suprised at the split, the Osiris releases this year are credited to Si, seems like they haven't worked together in a while.
Just noticed on Instagram and Twitter, Si is recording under Monic now, very much looking forward to hearing what he is up to, as loving the direction of Osiris this year.

Can't find any tracks online yet.

Was currious when I saw Osiris in the username, clicked on the profile and found Monic, Simon Shreeve. Same thing on Instagram.

such a shame dubstep (140) has become such a dirty word that he has to say 140 (dubstep) instead. I really miss dubstep (140) BITD and still play a some 140 (dubstep) everynow and then.

In my experience, Leon is a better DJ than Si and seems to make the better tunes (in my opinion of course).
Edit: After hearing the tunes Si is making (Monic), I'm doubting my earlier assertion.

I disagree with both. I prefer the more diverse sound that Si brings in both production and DJ sets. Leon seems to play a lot of old tunes, where Si mixes things up. His collab EP with Killawatt shows they are trying something different, which is welcome in a time which the music (Dubstep) is generally in a rut IMO. Apart from a few artists like Gantz and Commodo who are making some great for thinking music.
