Strikes me as an obnoxious "misunderstood teeager" who blames his own shortcomings on the rest of society.

Stanhope is just as political as Hicks is, but he doesn't take himself as seriously.

It's just not a very informed oppinion. It's like saying how anyone could feel a crybaby artist like Kurt Cobain had any merit.

+ thankfully standup has never been exclusively about laughs. Youw wouldn't have Louis Ck or Stewart Lee without Hicks.

To me it's like you love Slash but can't understand where Jimi fits in..
