just not impressed, ain't got a specific beef, but if I had to come up with one, to quote the good Wolf, it's a bit "corny". Just another singer-songwriter with an acoustic guitar, it's just that she's dropped it to 64kbps quality and gone with some tumblr goth vibe.

Chelsea Wolfe is sick. What are you on about Gareth? This is just a case of you associating someone with an image you don't like more than the music. I agree pain is beauty is slightly cornier than her other stuff but the apokalypsis album isn't remotely close to what you are claiming it is. Listen to that album Gareth. Not remotely close to being tumblr-ish. It has a lot of obvious cues from slower sludgy metal stuff not low bit rate internet goth wank

If you see her discuss influences to she's into stuff like Townes Van Zandt , rudimentary peni, burzum and black sabbath not so much fashiony or hipster type stuff
