Hmm if it were attacking a duck its prob not an eel bc freshwater eels usually eat dead fish i think
Could have been a pike tho, which is long like an eel

i didnt know if it was long because i only saw some of it and i saw its face, i thought it was a baby seal at first but it was kinda small for that

it got the ducks leg for like 20 seconds and then it let it go
im never going to swim in there now

current coastal dichotomy in Oz:
WA Government paying contractors to take out big Great Whites after a few surfers were eaten
meanwhile east coast NSW has fined a fisho $20000 for beaching a teenage Great White and beating it to death
peebs protesting WA decision wear t-shirts saying: "Go ahead and eat me. It's your ocean"
presumably they haven't been eaten by a noah before
