Yeah, I not sure how I mixed it up. I just really hope Mala vs The Bug doesn't clash with Author vs Gantz.

Om Unit plays at my night the day after. would be jokes getting on the same plane as him. could even book the seat next to his and creep him the fuck out.

Get a cheap tux, then as you're running down the street just tear it open to reveal your rave wear.
As long as he wears a snapback he's fine

What was Author vs Gantz like? Both solid producers who seem to be pretty clued up with an wide range of tastes, would be surprised if they went straight dubstep for the whole clash. Did Gantz go militant eastern vibes at any point?
Hope it was recorded like the Kahn/Viv/Yunx/Icicle one.

The Bug wrote:Maybe i had flown to subdub havin spent 21 days solid in an intensive care room with our newborn baby on 3 hours a night average sleep, maybe it was cause we were stuck on at 4 am, maybe it was because UK steppas events attract a particular type stonedstudentnuskool hippy, maybe it was because monitors didnt work, reducing vocals to inaudible drones for me, and music as detailess sub boom to the mcs, maybe it was because the Coronet is cold and cavernous, BUT last night's vibeless atmosphere at The Coronet's subdub event was just f-ckin W.E.I.R.D....Iration/OBF/Mala all smacked up the punishing rigs, but the crowd seemed in another zone to the performers..With Rico Top Ranking Geneva shrugging shoulders and unimpressed by the punters, Mark Iration muttering dispariging comments about "London crowds" , Mala saying it was a "strange" and Flowdan complaining we felt "disconnected i didnt feel totally crazy in my perception of the disparity between performers and punters last night... Coming off three cracking London shows with Flowdan, Manga and Miss Red we were hoping to light up the place again, but it weas like playing to the cast of 'Day of the Dead'...hahahaha...We transmit intenisty to ignite intensity, so it came as a really anti-climatic disappointment...My mate Hiroshi Takakura reckoned the sound in the middle of the room during our set was superheavyweight, and the folks he saw were havin it, but strangely i felt really displaced form the crowd and couldnt interact with my mcs, cause i couldnt really hear them due to unfeasible static/buzz problems over the system and monitors crappin out... OBF's rig was Xtra-large and certainly carried the danger, so i just finished the night with a big question mark, and ended up apologising to Manga and Miss Red for the crowd and poor vocal conditions...Ho hum, roll on the next one, and lets see ...However was great to chat to Rico, Mala, Sharon, Hiroshi, Simon subdub, Shanti, Rootical, Ben Alpha, Daddy Freddy Steph etc, as they brought me back to earth from the last months traumas... A night of two halves..lol
