Not hitting someone doesn't make you a sissy. I've had dudes start fights with me that I've refused to get into for fuck's sake. Most of the time there's no point.

By his logic you're a cissy.

Also, I don't get how taking a beating makes you a cissy, but fleeing one doesn't.

If you're in a argument at home/flat where it's just you and your partner and she does some ninja shit and start punching/kicking you or/and ripping out your hair, i'm sure the outcome would be very different. If you're a reasonable man, with reasonable strength you should be able to defence you're without the need for punching her back, but WITHOUT looking like a pussy. Force but not excessive Same for opposite sex. Women can be as strong as man. What reasonable man would stand their getting a beating and not do anything (unless you did come super dumb shit, like murdered her sister)


But when this happens in the public you got this little devil in your head; don't look aggressive or forceful because you'll be come BBC news by 10PM, and charged with assault and or battery. And if the shit goes to court - you better have a good barrister - juries don't like women beaters at all, and if the jury is also half women boooooom you fucked.

I saw a girl hit a guy, he lamped her and knocked her out, then started on me.

I agree with hitting back on occasions, as long as it's proportional to what can be taken. I don't think he should have lamped her since he wasn't hurt by it. It's better to NOT hit back at all though, but if life is in danger etc.

You don't need to hit back to deal with an attack though, plenty of ways of blocking, grappling etc. Someone armed deserves a full belting though. My mate's cousin got 'stabbed' by his bird (she stuck a knife in him a bit anyway)... but he cheated on her so he deserved it maybe
