I know - You said "it's, as if…"

I'm scared of that - I'm thinking
- we're way past determining if females can do things or not…

I hope that's not the issue…

The issue is more of - Why are these things always in service of the mans world.

And yes conceptually we can all think of a world where women are just as free as men…
to pursue and achieve things…and it is happening…

but for a huge - enormous majority of women…
We are still seeking a niche within - very established "subservient" roles…

Many of "us" don't even realize it…

Some are lazy - "Princesses" are entitled…
Some girls are so unconfident that they refuse to handle things…
Some are so unnaturally greedy that they are disruptive…

Some are all those things because a more "normal" route isn't available to them as females.

Some have failed to educate themselves in ways, at all.

I see it as if we have determined that they can't but wrongfully so and now it's time to let that embarassing notion not only sink in, but have a few billboards and point fingers.

How about this as a billboard…

You can't rise up on a boner if you don't elicit one.

eeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww…..bust

I do it too, seek subservient roles - I'm not exempt from it - it's reality…

exp.

When I was with my last boyfriend I always thought…

When we move to Philly he'll get a job at the record store….
and I'll work at the coffee shop….

I never even considered working at the record store
because he was better suited as a male to fit in with the other guys.

I wasn't going to be dating material because I had a significant...
- so they wouldn't have a reason to include me as a co-worker.

and this wasn't "wrong" in my mind - it was just how men are.

Either Fraternizing or Mating…can't fraternize with the enemy….type shit.

And I'm not trying to make blanket statements….

I have mostly functioned with lots of guys…
none of whom treated me like anything other than a normal friend…

but when I imagine "unknown" situations…
like the record store - the social dynamics of the imaginary record store….

That prejudice is just instantly part of the construct.

and it's based on something - some archetypal notion.

That is just shitty manboy behaviour imo

but sure I completely get that. And thats not even prejudice but experience tbh.

and it's based on something - some archetypal notion.
Like roles or whatever. But I feel if we excuse all of society with an understanding of having these roles set in place, then the role of oppressor is set in place aswell or becomes apparent and unmistakenly puts a huge target on their heads. Which is fair in my book.

Kuro_ wrote:Well from my personal point of view, I'd say it's when women get mad, and take their anger out only on men haha. Maybe they think the world only revolves around themselves. Making small little issues into huge ones, like if a guy has a quick sus at a girl, and then she's like 'oh wtf youre having a peek m8 dont stare, *WOMENS RIGHTS WOMENS RIGHTS* and then calls the cops, but then again its okay for women to stare right? I'm no scientist or psychologist but I think feminism is a load of bollucks.

nah i think it goes something like "it's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife" or something like that

still absolutely horrible song tho, and terrible misunderstanding of the word 'ironic'

Some of the most exploitative males I've known, studied feminism
One went on to have a coterie of female admirers
whom he groomed by catering to their victimhood and fear.
It convinced me that however sympathetic or supportive I am of equal rights and opportunities,
whatever actions I take to implement equality and opportunity,
I'll never be a feminist.
As nor will many women
unable or unwilling to overcome their conditioning and fear
or preferring to use the patriarchal system to their perceived advantage.

Some feminists have claimed that feminism ultimately aims to liberate men
(from their limited concepts of power, role-playing, expectations etc.).
If you agree with that possibility then feminism may be your bag
but if you resent and resist any female prescription for male improvement
then you can always join the Taliban.
Not too long ago, males feeling intimidated or inspired by feminist demands
felt a need to create their own male-agenda groupings and manifestos.
They didn't become ubiquitous I believe because
1. most guys realized they didn't want to become more women-like but liked by more women
2. other male-oriented groupings were more satisfying e,g. mens' sheds, pubs, sporting clubs

just some thoughts :b:

It's funny to think what would happen if there wasn't any girls. Would we go mad?
