not to worry, i have not. topmo3 admitted his opening comment wasn't worded especially accurately, so my comment and subsequent comments from other users were therefore not entirely correct in their context.

i am trying to remember the name of the blonde female dj producer who always wears hats. she did a remix of an aaliyah tune not long ago that i always keep handy as a get out of jail type tune in case.

flava d was who i meant.

this was from back in february so not as new as i thought. you might already be familiar with it. it's a good remix and easy to fit into a set as a bridging track.

Production "value" is only one component of a track imo. If the composition//arrangement/vibe is good then so be it. Look at Skream's remix of In for the Kill. Unmastered/mixed (I think) and still a dancefloor killa

yeah - probably just a question of taste.
same goes for that awful skream remix.

Stop copying my style (although I don't like Halalnihil that much to be honest)

If its the "latest & greatest dancefloor bangers" you want just go through the first few pages on redeye or something and listen to the clips. Quick way of finding decent new releases if thats all you're intending on playing. I'd be more impressed if someone pulled for the dusty dubstep records though.

If the 130 is what you're after and you're playing digital go for this.. I bet it goes down well inna de dance
