Rolling with it.

Cleaned the kitchen, took out the trash, took over a load of donations, got gas, got propane, having cheese and apple for lunch. Who knows what the arvo has in store. Perhaps posting of the TUNA!

weekdays drag like gay Al Qeda
while Sundays pass a la Daath Vader

am no fan of Miley's twerking
nor of spending Sunday working

six days slavery, paying taxes
seventh's ours, so we chillaxes

despite that Putin, his provocation,
every Sunday's my vacation

with Rolf in gaol, no longer smiling,
do like me, spend Sunday whiling

don't think about this coming Monday
be here now, in chocolate Sunday

If you have enough magnets they can pull you into the future

Was sick. It was some sort of festival for the town we were staying in, so there was music and street entertainment until about 4am.

Air was fresh and about 10c cooler than the city so got some proper fresh air and relaxation.

hmmm
you just happened to go when the festival was on...
amazing how often that doesn't happen to me...always the weekend before or after.
I'll have to get some magnets.

here again,
time racing by

the convention of having Sundays every 168 hours for 24 hours is becoming wearisomely repetitive
perhaps alternate 6 and 7 day weeks would be more conducive to awareness of the ephemeral

I was aggravated today
and, without reason, expect something better tomorrow.

wandered oceanshore today
then looked at old mags
Groove's Top Ten Discs of 2003 doesn't list one vaguely dubstep tune
The Bug, Prefuse 73, Four tet, Manitoba, 9 Lazy 9, Rythm & Sound about as close as it gets.

It was so underground in 2003 and all the dubstep was 12" singles. Remember this was the era that the "step" was still in dubstep.

I haven't thought about 9Lazy9 in awhile. He had some good records. Ninja Tune days.

I'm going to while away this Sunday arvo. Yesterday I competed in a cyber defense competition, today I ain't doing shit.

wotcha studying? I'm still CCNAing, doing lots of packet tracer, and a little bit of GNS3. I feel like I'm getting there, still lots I can't remember off by heart in terms of configuration though.

really haven't got anything going on in my life apart from studying atm - feels good, and slightly scary.

Cyber competition as in one of those 'capture the flag' kinda things? they look pretty interesting, are you in a team?

Yeah, this was a capture the flag type competition. Some live targets and some files that they would give you. This was the first round of two competitions. This one dealt with password cracking, network reconnaissance, intelligence gathering and website exploitation. I didn't really get to the website part which deals with XSS and SQL injections which isn't really one of my strong areas. I did better in the password cracking and network parts. Using tools like nmap, wireshark, john the ripper etc. I used Backtrack and Windows, I broke my Kali machine, long story.

last day of water fast
jeez I've been grumpy
and almost psychotic
the few people I've had contact with will need apologizing to
but in the misty rainforest right now
I'm feeling the benefits
feeling peaceful
maybe cos it's Sunday

strangely I didn't craved food or grog
but would've loved a big chillum of hash
eventho I haven't smoked for over a year.
