i think you are right man, its really about how good your "taste"/image is. if you got a feel for what these labels want musically and you have a solid image/brand to back it up, why wouldn't they want you? u can do it urself its just another skill its just most people dont put as much effort into it as their music so no wonder it looks like shit or dodgey... fuck dodgey is a sick word...

Lye Form wrote:Concentrate on sending music to DJs not labels, if your music gets good coverage from DJs then labels will approach you
This is subjective depending what genre of music you produce

i agree, lye would agree too he stated that its subjective for "EDM" before he wrote that im pretty sure... which is my point exactly tho know your lane/path, mastering doesn't apply for all of em. every label is different and some are more similar than others so do some research its ezpz. study the moves the professionals in your lane made to get where they are today. copy then innovate. gotta learn the rules to break them properly

, or build on them for that matter...

Good Tips! Also dont forget to be very involved with the labels releases. Soundcloud for instance. Keep up those comments =D

Also if you can, hit up more artists that have similar styles for collabs! Not only does that further your production experience, but two head usually are better than one!
