Last night someone showed me thus analogue delay for under 30 pounds that surprisingly sounds really nice. Can't wait to get one and get dubby
Sorry for the dumb and potentially off topic question, but I just wondered, with the delay you posted, do you need something to amplify the signal somewhere in the chain, or can you simply just run an output into it then straight back into your interface?

Cheap gear wise, I bought a couple of Patchblocks when they were on Kickstarter - great little toys and almost infinitely expandable! http://patchblocks.com/

I've also got a Monotron Duo which is great fun, if a little limited and impractical.
As long as its coming out of something like an audio interface or mixer it should be okay. I think a re amp box could help sort out the impedance I think but I'm not sure if its nessecary.

Also guys just found out the joyo analogue delay is an analogue modelling delay(so its digital) still think it sounds nice just don't overload the signal unless u want it to sound shitty

Two points of order--

I've been using pedals with no kind of "amp" working with line level signals for a couple years and I never felt like I needed a signal boost. That being said, I could be totally talking out of my ass because I'm not an expert really.

Which Joyo pedal are you looking at? I'm fairly sure the make an actual analog delay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Joyo-JF-33-Dela ... 5d50ea9cf8

This is what I own.

Torn between getting a midi keyboard or attempting to build a DIY synth. Probably will end up getting both. I just realized it's useless to have as many computers as I do, so I'm going to sell a few, in hopes I can get a bit of gear 8)

Guess that means a bit of research on my end.
I have never thought of buying gear until last week when I almost chucked my laptop because I had windows all over my screen and kept accidentally closing shit I needed open in a sudden rage when I started mixing up my keyboard shortcuts. Not that hardware is going to solve my problems, but I need change in my life. And less windows on computer screens.

For diy synths check out mutable instruments for sure.
