was thinking about that sd laika album but tbh it was one of those cases when i loved it when it came out then kinda forgot about it

2562 was probably the biggest disappointment for me. i mean it's not a bad album, just that (having completely forgotten about the air jordan ep) i thought it was going to be some nice ravey shit, only to realize it's some nearly monochrome nause techno which doesn't really stand out from pan, opal tapes, hospital prod et al

1989 and Broke with Expensive Tastes are up there for me

Also, despite running GutterBreakz & the rest, Ekoplekz is very much from the world of industrial & experimental tabletop hardware stuff, he's had a fucking amazing year.
Booked him for £50 on a space-rock gig this time last year.
