last i heard they're evacuating parts of del mar. not sure if thats true, but if so, you and james be careful. I heard they expect parts of the fire to burn all the way to the water.

Voluntarily so far I think. I've packed up the studio, the decks, and the other irreplaceables just in case. Also it's just me here, James is in SF until tonight on a booking.

HAH! first thing i did as well. grabbed the decks, the vinyl, the monitors, and the computer

need to get some insureance someday!

A few years back they evacuated us. It wasn't half bad, I got two free nights in a hotel and fed 3 meals a day...and got to take time off work. Like a little vacation but all the while your concerned of your pad burning down.

damn casino, where do you live? My roommates and I just saw another fire to the northwest of us... this is bad, as we've got santa ana winds blowing south east from the fire towards us....

its funny, we're all holed up in this house, knowing that if we leave we cant get back home. We've pretty much watched all the DVDs we have and have resorted to cooking all the food in our freezer. we're totally anti-establishment here, but we're bored and ready for this to be over... oh, and my electricity is back on

There's a guy I work with whose Mum keeps calling him from up on her roof. The flames are licking the buildings across the street...

Hectic guys... we cop a lot of this here in aus during the summer...

don't be afraid to bail the house misk, otherwise it's gunna be one fucked up oven with all the windows boarded up like that

I'm out near the Agua Dulce blaze, in Canyon Country, which has now become the Santa Clarita blaze. It whipped through here last night, barely missing us. 100 yards at best. now the fire has moved towards magic mountain. where are you located?
