not really sure what youre talking about. manchesters got some sick nights at the moment
if you like grime and garage theres bpm. last few months theyve had sticky, spooky, kahn & neek & loads more. theyre residents are sick and its not too studenty
if you like house and techno Selective Hearing is wicked. they hold Bring your own booze warehouse parties
also not that studenty
theres also roadhouse and soup kitchen which have big djs playing every weekedn. small club vibes. small rooms not too light, wicked soundsystems
Brackles has started a night to go with his new label called swing ting. last one had himself and dj q playing
if youre prepared to go out with students theres plenty of good djs being booked at mint lounge and joshua brooks.
What sort of night are you into?

I'm pretty easy, as long as the music is not commercial chart shite. Normally go to the garret, font, liars club,Salisbury, grand central, thirsty scholar, factory, northern quarter like castle hotel and night and day.
Where do you normally go?

soup kitchen, roadhouse, joshua brooks, mint lounge, underland, oddest in chorlton has a good night called so flute
its really easy to avoid the commercial stuff. esp if you dont mind too many students. have a look on skiddle they usually have tickets to most club nights.
mumdance is playing at antwerp mansion in rusholme on the 16th

lol i went to the thirsty scholar the other day. its proper weird in there. seems like a heavy metal bar. there was ska playing and 5 00 year olds skanking about. but yeah 5 mins away from there there's xolo which is alright depending on the night, joshua brooks which is usualy pretty good, then sound control and factory 251 which are alright depending on the night (can also be god awful)

reckon manchesters probably the joint third best city in england for a night out with leeds. only london and bristol are better in terms of regular nights put on booking good djs with good vibes.

What's wrong with you guys, I go out every weekend in Warsaw and the nights are cool, mostly techno on vinyl and house like Lobster Theremin, Macadam Mambo etc
