how much would you be looking for for the vestaxes?

a guy over on djforums pointed me in this direction...

http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR183337

what do you guys think to that setup?

i realise technics would be the best option, but im a little bit apprehensive about buying them second hand, because it would be just my luck for them to turn up broken or something, and i really wouldnt know what to look for as far as damage goes with them...

thanks for all your help guys!
The t60 is bottom bottom bottom, go for one or two up in the Stanton series at least. Also, Behringer sucks.

congrats on the 1210's!

smart move there

I use whitelabels by shure

they are a bit pricey, but the durability and fidelity is unsurpassed by any other dj cartridge on the market under $100.00us

but there are many options for you

stanton's sl500, shure sc35c's, m44's

all cartridges will fit your headshells, which fit into the tonearm

:o
i thought they were weakly built but sounded nice. i've replaced the needles about 4 times in 7 months.
ortofon gt was the best all round needle i ever had, but they're out of production.

shure m447 all the way

yes i agree the M44 are the most durable

I was referring to the balance between durability and fidelity, and that is why I prefer the whitelabels

I used 447's for years and they began to eat away at my vinyl.

I treat my equip very gingerly, so if you are a bit on the rough side of djing (mobile or a scratch dj) you might want to go with the M447's
