I think it's more abnormal to not be depressed or have depressive tendencies.

False optimism is more of a mental illness imo.

yeah i think depression/anxiety are so vague that a spectrum approach seems more accurate to me than a binary (does/does not have depression) approach. everyone i know has or has had some sort of anxiety, depression, etc at some point in their life.

I've experienced depression before. Some of the happiest I've felt is when I started on Pristiq, an SNRI. I just smiled.

I currently take Abilify, an anti-psychotic, for intrusive thoughts which may be caused by autism.

suffered with depression periodically since i was roughly 14, and I'm now 20. never taken any prescription medication for it as I seriously dont trust any of that shit
