why complain about something you dont watch though?
ive never watched an episode of the kardashians show. i assume it's shit based on what i know of it. its not my sort of thing at all.
doesnt mean i feel the need to complain about it. itd be like kicking off at the sun rising. whether i like shit tv or not wont stop it being made.

Because of an understanding maybe?
In my book the show is very liberal with how concerative it is. It's not a natural political founding for very many people. It's a political theme but not a political opinion or stance, per se.
It's like.. 'how can we make these cringing old world notions current' etc. Well if we spend enough money on it to get everybodys attention etc...
I dont even think they are as bad irl as they are in a deliberate sense, because of that ^ principle in the show.
And if that isn't wrong.. then there's how classicist it all is still and in a british context which ought to be a bad thing in itself.

i appreciate what youre saying.
from my perspective, its still just a tv show (something rather trivial in the grand scheme of things)
if it annoyed a person, they have the choice to not watch it. out of sight, out of mind.

I really liked how Dana Gould (simpsons writer/comedian) talks about what reality shows really are somewhere on this podcast.

Like on some existential level.
(Not a chore going through if you have time, he's piss funny

TLC had to do it with Honey Boo Boo. I don't care what the show is, who is in it, if you fu it's on you. I can't believe that people pick a TV show over someone getting hit.
relating it to honey booboo and why that show was stopped is highly appropriate imo
shows exactly what the fuck we are talking about here lol

point is 'don't watch it' makes no sense in a discussion about what he done being right/wrong and the consequences of his actions

Bit dark but a flippant reply deserved a flippant reply back.
I just really don't get the response of 'don't watch it if you don't like it' in a discussion of whether his actions were right or wrong. It works perfectly well in a discussion of whether you like the guy or not but thats not the discussion.
