yes you are wrong. while they are up all you give them is the right to let other people all over the world to listen to them.

Year they had to change that after people were up in arms, didn't used to say what they wouldn't do with the music. I've taken most of my stuff off their for my own reasons and wont be putting any stuff back thanks to Virb - I want people to hear stuff in high quality.

but full tunes converted from 192kb/s mp3 to 96kb/s mp3? I mean who on earth is going to do anythign useful with that?

i do see your point but myspace sounds so shit it hardly matters.....

Well, I can imagine people that are listening to them on shitty pc monitors or ipod aren't really going to be that bothered it's not a 320. If you just want the tune and aren't bothered about the quality then it's not an issue.

By the way, can people stop asking for the addy now, seems to be anybody that has a myspace has their tunes up there. I get the feeling it has to be a myspace employee unless there's a pretty crafty bot that just records all the audio up there.

Yeah, does seem a bit fishy doesn't it. I don't think myspace are going to be much use to be honest, they generally aren't.

Hmm I dunno about that bro.

How can they ignore that website? Its a UK website! UK laws... Ton of bricks spring to mind....

I'm gonna email them when I get home and I suggest you all do the same. Whats the point of myspace if your music is unsafe? Whats the point in putting up tracks people can download? The worst ofthis is the quality will be SHIT n ppl will be going around playing shit copies of your music! So you end up looking like a c@#t too!

innit!

Action needs to be taken. i know we're never gonna wipe this piracy thing out but if we can at least tackly sites one by one as they appear then at least we can feel like we're achieving something!

fucking pirates

I always edit my tunes so it starts in the first breakdown and its only about 2:30 long...That way I can at least encode it on ym end at a higher bit ret, even tho myspace is like 96k or something....

simple solution: don't post full, or high(ish) quality tunes on myspace. people paying for this stuff are jokers.

It's just a heads up to inform people, I know this shit is inevitable, but it might be wise to be aware of it and take actions such as just uploading edits or putting some sort of spoiler into the clip. This does seem to be a fairly big operation, so it's worth noting for those that are looking at releases of tunes that they can be prepared.
PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY.

Ha ha, that'd make a hilarious drop.

there are still thousands sites and free downloadable software that allow you to download undownloadable tune off a myspace in 96kbps

but who actually gives a fuck if its a 96kbps though?
