my dad took me to a place in Melbourne Beach, FL last month...they can still legally sell cuban cigars that were purchased before the embargo. the tobacco has been kept in some crazy pressurized humidor for ages. the cuban stuff didn't smell or taste like $50 worth...but then again, i'm not a connoisseur...

I have been fortunate enough to have a Cuban and it was bomb! Hope that ban gets lifted soon, would love to go there too someday.



Bummer about the Absinthe, if its just higher alcohol then... Ive had moonshine from my grandfathers still that was somthing crazy like 95%. I saw three shots of it take down a man who weighed well over 350lbs. Looks like the US has a legal brand of Absinthe now though, so at least I can taste it.

I want to experience the magic of walker crisps.

honestly you don't want to taste absinthe it's fucking horrible. i've got a bottle sitting in my cupboard that i brough back from the czech republic a couple of years ago it's doesn't taste too bad if you caremelise a bit of sugar by mixing it with a bit of absinthe on a spoon then burning it (heh really is getting like a smack thread now) then mix it in with the absinthe

strongest alcohol i've had is stroh rum, think its austrian or something. probably the only alcohol i've had that's worse tasting than absinthe - it's absolutely vile
