exactly, 192kbps is the most preferable bit rate for me as well for the mixes I want to keep for regular enjoyable listen. however any bit rate is good enough to find out if you like the mix or not. I actually hate it when I download something too big and it's not worth it

so now we sorted the bit rate we can start another thread - "make 'em studio mixes longer / shorter" lol. I love short all-by-one-producer mixes that are heavy!

big up gravious and eleven tigers for two of such, they went straight to my "obviously massive mixes" folder no matter what bit rate they are

Stairwell made me proper goose bumps even when I listened to it in 94kbps, that's how you know the producer is BIG.

If you know how to make mp3 mixes in V0..variable bitrate then its good to do so....
each to their own though...
