I have to say that after listening to this whole album, it brings me back to the excitement of listening to the first compilations from Certificate 18 Records (Hidden Rooms, anyone?) back when Drum and Bass used to mean something and there were new boundaries to explore. This compilation is just really, really good. Not aimed simply at the floor, there are so many levels to this selection.
I have to tip my hat not just to the artists who have participated in making this compilation one of the best of the last year, but to Alien Pimp for having the taste to select the tracks that are included. Not the usual names, but the sounds and deepness take center stage here, not namedropping to sell units. Crisp production and boundaries being crossed. Wow.
We are really proud to be a part of this compilation. The only thing that I wish could have happened would have been a vinyl release of this one so I could press it to my chest after receiving a copy like back in the day when vinyl meant something.
Largene$$ with dollar signs cause this one is money.

this is all we intended to do with this project, that will continue no matter commercial success, and this is all we aimed to hear from our audience, so reading this a certain sense of accomplishment made me wet my pants. almost literally
bless!
