Ok maybe the lack of notoriety with the local law enforcement and the fact me bird will have a bugger of a time getting hold of me to tell me how crap a dad I am appeals but really thats about it."Chu wrote:I love how quickly these things can get out of hand on the internet.ch3 wrote:http://waynetype.blogspot.com/

That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger Ben. Apart from strokes, heart attacks, amputations and wasting diseases of course.UFO over easy wrote:hah, you can't even pretend he deserved what he got, he's 19 ffsShonky wrote:Why Ben, have you got plans for a Guardian blog too?UFO over easy wrote:I feel properly sorry for the kid
I love how people aren't allowed to make mistakes anymore
maybe I don't have a thick enough skin but if it was me I'd remember something like that forever.
all he did was write a blog, just in the wrong place
good point ben, its one of those situations where its probably best to just ignore it if it pisses you off, more people should realise that just cos you don't like something you can just ignore it rather than slaying it into the groundUFO over easy wrote:exactly, people were flinging abuse at him based on some perceived character type they know they're supposed to hate, seeing as them and all their internet buddies pride themselves on how 'twisted and bitter' they are... even if he was as bad as all that, he still wouldn't deserve that really. take the guy down a peg or two but there's no reason to carry on at it like that. people are idiots.
Was probably a squat juice takeover by the looks of it. To be honest though, on the Comment is Free section on the Guardian, they're not generally much nicer a lot of the time, and that's usually people that are old enough to know better, rather than youngsters with a dislike for posh kids. You gotta have some balls to rise above that sort of constant abuse (or just ignore the comments and collect the cheque which seems a lot smarter)UFO over easy wrote:exactly, people were flinging abuse at him based on some perceived character type they know they're supposed to hate, seeing as them and all their internet buddies pride themselves on how 'twisted and bitter' they are...
