smoking is rank.

Started when i was 13 carried on until i was 24. Smoked Skunk everyday for 10 years. I havn't smoked for nearly three years. Except for the odd Cuban once a year or so (don't inhale)
I still miss it and feel the need to smoke every couple of months. They say you never fully get over your addiction.
It is evil and i feel i wasted a good part of my life being a monged out stoner.
Some are able to smoke in moderation and thats great, i wish i had the will power to do that.

I sometimes feel the same. I've hammered myself to a shocking degree over the years. But at the same time I dont think I'd be the same person if I hadnt. Cant win really.

Ah ha the smokes of champions. Hmmm.
I really wish I didn't smoke rollies etc but as with everyone else here work demands it unfortunately.
I smoke a joint or two most nights, nowhere near as dependant on it as I used to be after a four month break a couple of years ago. Dope smoking is quite a cultural thing here on the Isle Of Wight; its of the highest quality, cheap, plentiful and other entertainment options are quite limited.
Not sure I'd bother at all if I moved elsewhere and could only get the commercial shite that seems so readily available in the rest of the U.K

I smoke when I drink....don't drink much anymore either.

started when i was about 14 - i smoke probably 8 - 10 a day during the week, and fuck knows how many when i'm drunk, i crave them horrendously after a few beers
weedwise it used to be a lot every weekend, but have stopped that now, not through any concious choice just got a bit bored of it after a while, i'll indulge occasionally (normally when drunk) but its not a frequent thing anymore
also my brand is rollies 9 out of 10 times

I smoke at least 8-9 cigarettes a day, cut down on the weed though, got exams coming up
Edit: on a night out I'll smoke around 20-25 if its just the pub, but I could get through 40 if I didnt hold back, tis bad

Very good point. I would probably be married with kids and a big stinking mortgage, regretting that i never did the things i wanted to do.

Exactly, plus I think a certain degree of mental battery definately changes your personality. I'm sure there are certain things in my head and certain ways I look at the world due to this. Its all good, although the body may tell a different story.

Funny enough ive just bought a pack of 10 Marlboro Lights, but it takes me about 4 months to smoke them, so i guess im no smoker.

used to smoke here and there. Only hanging out with peeps. Never got addicted physically, mentally I think I got a little hooked on the hanging out spinning cutting beats and having a few.
As far as weed... well. light it up. I have a vaporizor at my apt wherever I live on the planet. The way to go. sooooo much better. but yeah out- i burn it.

it takes you four months to smoke them because they are absolutely horrible.
i smoke tobacco and green, sometimes i even smoke them at the same time.
I can't believe more smokers didn't make a fuss about the ban. anybody noticed pubs and clubs are pretty shit now? and where are all the non-smokers that were meant to suddenly start going to the pub since the smoking ban? i can't see them anywhere, just the usual crowd minus 15 smokers. nice one, government

i love the ban. i really like having a little mission to go and have a cig, getting a bit of fresh air and having a chat with a someone that you'd never normally talk to
the thing it's slightly ruined is clubs, because inevitably you spend ages standing around chatting shit outside and miss most of the music. it's great in pubs though.

i've said a similar thing to Pk before - BUT i only ever feel that sentiment when i don't have to queue to go outside for my cigarette, that is fucking long, also i said the same thing to poax and he said he hates it cos it means he has to come outside and talk to twats like me

It killed some of the clubs here...no vibes....everyone was smoking while you were playing...but good thing is you don't go home smelling stank all the time. I like the ban as well.
