erm actually the barcode scan is what countslukki wrote:Are we sure that independent record store sales don't count? I was always under the understanding that the numbers were done from the manufacturer and distributer's count of what was sent out, minus returned or unordered stock. All the sales numbers are estimates anyway, its not like the barcode scan at MEGA MUSIC STORE goes into a database that small stores' barcode scans dont go into.
